Audrey Lieutaud

It is near Cannes, in Mouans-Sartoux, that Gloire Magazine made a stop to encounter Audrey Lieutaud, the founder of the famous online sales website Mon petit Bikini.com.

A holiday vibe blows in the showroom of Mon petit Bikini... Colorful swimsuits, lovely summer accessories, silky light pajamas, carefully decorated in the spirit of a beach hut, no doubt, the sea is only a few kilometers away... However, most of the sales are made much further away since the business is primarily carried out on e-commerce. The very first of its kind!

”My dream job“

February 2010. Audrey is 25 years old. During a lunch in Paris with her friends, she has a spark. The young woman, originally from Reunion Island, passionate about travel and fashion, realizes that it is very difficult to find a swimsuit in the middle of winter, whether in a store or online. Just graduated from a Business School with a Master's degree in Luxury, she embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure. "I wanted to create my dream job," she confides. She aims to redefine the swimsuit industry in France by providing a diverse selection of brands and styles from around the globe throughout the year, catering to various budgets and accommodating all body types. For her, "creating a company should be aligned with heart and soul," and it paid off! By the end of 2010, Monpetitbikini.com became the first French online sales website dedicated to swimsuits and the beach lifestyle. With over 3 000 models available. Audrey quickly understands what women want. In 2015, she established her own brand, drawing inspiration from her travels, with a special emphasis on thong-style swimsuits (it still remains the best-selling item).

“Events unfolded rapidly. There was no competition, and the digital world was booming!" recalls Audrey. "At that time, I was using Facebook and then Instagram for communication. Today, thanks to our young Community Manager, we're even on TikTok," says the entrepreneur who was one of the first to collaborate with influencers. "I choose my Muses who inspire me to create collections in their image," continues Audrey, recently partnering with @Babyatoutprix. Audrey herself became a content creator without even seeing its coming..: "On the eve of a trip to the Maldives, the girls in the office encouraged me to create my Instagram account. When I returned, 10k followers were in hand, and I felt obliged to continue for my community!" she confides. Since then, she shares her life as a mom-entrepreneur.

At the showroom, amidst the computers, design boards, and suspended rattan chairs for breaks, the team is bustling between the store and the offices: sales manager and assistants, graphic designer-photographer, community manager, stylist, and saleswomen, making up a team of around ten during the peak season.

Over time, Mon Petit Bikini has established itself in several prestigious boutiques and spas in Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Cannes, and in most of the overseas territories. The brand is even arriving at Galeries Lafayette this year. The next objective? Go abroad!
